영어소설에서 자주 나오고 일반적인 뜻과는 살짝 다른 은유적인 표현을 소개해보려 합니다.

​

문맥에 따라 상당히 다른 뜻을 내포하고 있는 숙어입니다.

​

a touch of sth :

1. a small amount ​적은 양

2. A mild case of something (some illness or ailment) 경증이 있는 (질병·질환)

3. a small addition or detail that makes something better 더 좋아 보이게 덧붙이거나 세부적인 사항

☞물론 'touch'의 기본적인 뜻은 '손을 대다, 접촉하다, 연락을 취하다'라는 기본적인 뜻도 있지만 여기에서는 다소 확장된 뜻인 위 3가지 표현을 중점적으로 살펴보려 합니다 .
