이번에 읽은 책은 "These tangled vines"입니다.

줄거리

Fiona answered the phone from Italy. The lawyer from Italy said that her biological father left property to her. So she flew to Italy.

The father who raised Fiona thinks that he is her biological father.

At the time of her mother's death, she told about the biological father and died.

Fiona has been this secret to her father as mother's will.

dad who raised her has quadriplegia and is in a wheelchair.

피오나는 이탈리아에서 온 전화를 한통 받았다. 그녀의 생물학적 친부가 그녀에게 유산을 남겼다는 변호사의 전화였다. 그녀는 그 길로 이탈리로 떠난다.

피오나에게는 아버지가 한명 있는데 그는 자신이 생부 인것으로 생각하고 있다.

하지만 피오나의 엄마는 죽기 전에 피오나에게 생부가 따로 있다는 사실을 알려주고 세상을 떠났다. 피오나는 엄마의 유언데로 이사실을 아빠에게는 말하지 앟고 비밀로 간직하고 있었다.

현재 피오나의 아빠는 사고를 당한 후 사지마비가 되어 휠체어에 몸을 의지한다.

Fiona's dad is an author of some novels, not bestsellers. Her mother and father moved to Italy to get inspiration for his books before Fiona was borned.

Her father had a tragic accident there.

Her biological father, Anton, left a huge winery and all its inventory building and equipment for her even though she has never met before he died.

They are worth close to a hundred million euros.

What happened to her mother and Anton? Her mother, Lillian, had an affair behind her husband?

피오나의 지금 아빠는 작가이며 피오나가 태어나기 전 아버지는 책을 쓰기 위해 어머니와 함께 이탈리아로 떠나고 그 곳에서 아버지는 비극적인 사고를 당했다. 피오나의 생부였던 앤톤은 유언으로 그녀에게 막대한 와인공장의 모든 장비와 운영권을 남긴다. 그 가격은 1억 유로에 달하는 돈이다. 살아생전에 그 둘은 한번도 본적이 없는데도 말이다.

과연 피오나의 엄마와 안톤과의 사이에 무슨 일이 있었던 것일까?

피오나는 그 둘의 과거를 파헤치기 사직한다. 그러고 난후 그녀의 엄마와 안톤은 서로 진실하게 사랑했으며 그녀의 아버지의 사고의 원인이 안톤에게 있었음을 알아낸다. 안톤이 질투심에 눈이 멀어 내 지금 아버지를 죽이려 한 것일까? 엄마는 이 사실을 알았을까?

There is some situation that makes enough worse to have an affair between Lillian and her employer, Anton. Like as they were drunk, Lillian's husband didn't care about her much and went to Paris for writing his book, Anton is very handsome, kind, rich, and cares about her very much. Moreover, Anton's wife wants a divorce from him.. So they have to fall in love with each other and couldn't help..

But I think an affair is an affair no matter what the situation is. Can we justify it?

On the one hand, It's very impressive about the description of the Scenery and environment of Italy.

In addition, I could feel the regret and lament of the children who did not know the true nature of their parents deeply.

Also I had a happy time to think what would do if I had 100 million euros(약 1337억원) at moment.:-)

피오나의 엄마가 바람을 피울 수 밖에 없는 상황을 만들기 위해 상당히 고심한 흔적들이 보였다. 피오나의 엄마와 안톤은 술에 취한 상태였고 그녀의 남편은 책을 쓴다고 파리로 떠난 상태라 그녀에게 딱히 관심을 두지 았았으며 옆에 있는 안톤은 잘생기고 친절하고 부자고 그녀에게 여러가지 관심이 많고 걱정해주고.게다가 안톤의 부인은 이혼을 원한다...이래서 어쩔 수 없었다. 이런 식인데 글쎄 내 생각엔 상황이 어떻든간에 바람은 바람이다.. 정당화 시킬 수 있을까?

한편으로는 이탈리아의 자연환경을 묘사한 것이 참 인상깊었고 부모들의 실체를 몰랐던 자식들의 후회와 통탄을 뼈저리게 느낄 수 있었다. 그리고 잠시나마 나에게 1억 유로가 생긴다면 뭐할까 라는 달콤한 상상도 해볼 수 있던 시간이었다. ^^
